Bully kutta will definitely put up a fight with a leopard., even if its a fight unto death, there is no way leopard is getting away with minor injuries.
Although leopards are stealth hunters but we are talking here about a hypothetical situation. if they ever come face to face with a bully kutta openly and challenge it. This dog is an aggressive Mastiff dog of huge proportions! Just the size and build of the dog is intimidating, let alone its deep threatening voice. Bully kuttas are extremely powerful and historically they were used to hunt big games such as wild boars, lions, leopards bears etc. They were used in packs and were released once the hunter had hit a wild animal with the arrow. They always had power, endurance and agility but never were fast enough to catch up with wild animals unless the animal was trapped inside a yard or was injured by the hunter. Later on they were used for illegal dog fights which are now strictly banned in India and Pakistan. As they had been used for dog fighting in the past, the breed has strong will to fight against other dogs and wild animals and will never back down, if they are challenged or come face to face with a wild animal. Of course they are no match for big cats such as lions, tigers, jaguars etc but we are only focusing on leopards here. Leopards are strong too but not as strong as lions, tigers or Jaguars.
The nickname 'the Beast of the East' sums up this dog. They are very protective of their domain and ready to give up their lives for their human family or property that they are guarding,
