7 Smooth Camera Movements Hand-held (No Post-Stabilization or Slow-Mo)
Currently I don't own any stabilizing gear for my camera (other than my good ol' tripod) so when I'm filming, it's usually hand-held. I thought I would share with you how I use my body to try and keep these camera movements as steady as possible. Certainly you'll still notice some bumps here and there, but if you edit right, people won't notice (fingers crossed).
I decided to go with the bare minimum: not using slow-motion footage, not using stabilization in post, and not even using the the strap-around-neck trick (I explain in the video why I don't typically use it myself). I hope it shows you that even without all those extra tricks, you can film and edit a sequence with decently smooth footage!
