this video is about my efforts making the parts for the steam locomotive, erie triplex,
the pilot beam is located on the front and rear of the locomotive, its primary function is to hold the couplers that connect to the rest of the train its also used to connect cowcatchers, steps, ect. After reviewing the video there is a serious lack of safety equipment ie. glasses, face shield, apron, boots, gloves, ect. its attributed to the nervous excitement of making this video
this my first attempt at casting and my second pour the first one had sinkholes so i adjusted the position and size of the risers, this one came out ok.
