Vocal Tuning with Melodyne Essential in REAPER (ARA2)
Celemony's ARA2 tech was added to REAPER in version 5.97 enabling instant transfer of pitch data from an audio file in reaper to Melodyne VST3. Changes in the audio on the track, like trim edits, are updated within the plugin.
It's the best integration of Melodyne thus far in REAPER and it's a massive improvement to the old realtime transfer way previously.
In this video I'm using the low-cost Essential version of Melodyne to correct the pitch of a lead vocal in REAPER v5.972.
The ARA integration is still being refined and may change slightly in future versions.
