Let me start off by saying that these are in fact THE BEST escalators in the United States. These are the world famous Wooden Escalators at Macy's in New York City New York. These are some absolutely incredible antique escalators that were installed in the 1920s by Otis. Wooden escalators nowadays are incredibly rare. I'm really glad I got a chance to ride these considering the fact that Schindler is sadly replacing them. Parts are tough to get nowadays to fix these historic escalators unfortunately. These are the best escalators I've ever ridden and I don't think any other escalator could ever surpass these beauties.
