The Rod of Discord is a Hardmode tool that instantly teleports the player to the mouse cursor.
Since it has a very incredibly small chance of dropping, building a farm to get it is a very logical action.
In order for us to start making this farm, we first need to go into hardmode to make The Hallow appear in your world.
So go down to the Subterranean world and kill the wall of flesh in it.
Next, look for the holy biome and go down to the Cavern layer.

You have to make sure that there are no walls in this room, because if you stand against a wall, the necessary mobs will not spawn.
And there is also one caveat, and the easiest way to solve it is to have the frog paw accessory, or its improvement. So that you can automatically jump.
Because if you do not move for 5 seconds, the necessary mobs will stop appearing.
