Have you ever wondered how to convert Blueprints (visual scripting) to C++ code in Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5? Wonder no longer! In this episode, I go over converting "Weapon Rotation" Blueprint logic from my Super Smash Brothers Platform Fighter Tutorial series to C++ logic, determining how to implement behavior in code without fully understanding what a section of Blueprint logic does, and creating variables and functions with the same C++ behavior as they had in the Blueprint.
Unreal Engine offers a fantastic combination of C++ coding and Blueprint visual scripting that allows us to make incredible games and simulations. Sometimes, whether it be for contract requirements or ease of use, you will want to use C++ over Blueprints or Blueprints over C++.
