Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse Insane Animation & Graphics Techniques
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse is an incredible example of how versatile animation is as an art medium. The animation and graphics are mind blowing and definitely forged some new frontiers in animation with it's unique visual treatments and approach to the look-dev, graphics and animation. And to top it all off, the story was incredible as well.
I just had to do an analysis on each of the spider people's character design and the unique graphics and vis-dev for each of their worlds. Gwen Stacey, Hobie Brown, Miguel o'Hara, Pavitr Prabakhar, Jessica Drew and of course, the Spot and Miles.
