Do you keep pushing back your course cause it feels too overwhelming? I get it! 😥
A student of mine was recently telling me that they felt they had to film everything ahead of time and that it would take months before they could bring in any revenue. I want to offer you 2 alternate ways of doing it.
OPTION 1: If you already have an outline created and feel you could put together lessons relatively quickly, then I would:
work on my sales page and get ready for the first launch.
Then, once I had students in (doesn’t matter if it’s a small number), I would release the modules on a weekly basis.
You can either choose to teach live on Zoom OR you can record that week’s module and then email it out to your students every Monday.
OPTION 2: If you feel like you won’t be able to do that or that you still need to validate your course idea, then I would:
Focus on selling a workshop instead of a full course.
This allows you to test your idea + messaging before needing to build out a complete course. This can be a live or pre-recorded workshop - whatever feels easier for you!What do you think? Will you try either of these options?
I know it’s scary to think of launching imperfectly but often it’s what we need to do to get the project off the ground!
