In this setting, I had to deal with various people telling me what to do and what not to, on top of dealing with challenging colleagues and a tumultuous relationship. Honestly, I felt pretty negative about all of it, realizing I was losing control of my life. Each day seemed like a never-ending, hard battle, as if I was at my lowest point.
