TRUE STALKER: New Updates, Tips & Tools location
Quick overview and install guide of the new patches (1.3 version), where to find the tools for the technician, and some random tips that are really useful for beginners!
There are a lot of game breaking bug fixes in the patches so don't miss them! You don't have to restart a new game, they're compatible with most older saves.

If you have the "OpenAL: Can't create sound device." error:
Uninstall OpenAL, get it here
https://www.openal.org/downloads/
And install again.
If it's still not working, check C:\WINDOWS\system32\ for OpenaAL32.dll
If the .dll file is not there then its not installed correctly.
Get the .dll here:
https://dll-overhaul.com/file/openal3...
and place it in the sys32 folder.
