Previously, we looked at how to set up Next JS. Today, we’ll look at how routing works in NextJS and use that to continue creating our Next JS application.

First: what is routing? Why does it matter?

Routing determines which component to render based on the URL being called. In other words, it's how Next.js maps URLs to specific pages or components in your application.
