Bose Cinemate 15 - Can't Turn System On
If your Bose Cinemate 15 won't turn on, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
Check Power Connections:
Ensure all power cords are securely connected. Sometimes, a loose connection can prevent the system from turning on.
Reset the System:
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
Wait for at least 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back into the outlet.
If there is no startup tone within 10 seconds, try plugging it into a different power outlet.
Check the Remote Control:
Ensure that the remote control has fresh batteries and is working correctly. If the remote’s batteries are low or dead, replace them and try again.
If the remote still does not work after replacing the batteries, the remote might need to be replaced.
Note: if your remote control is USAV universal remote control, you just need to press AUX 2 button and try to turn it on again
Inspect the LED Indicator:
When the system is powered on, the LED indicator light should illuminate. If it doesn’t, check the power cords again for any loose connections.
If the LED still does not illuminate, there might be an issue with the power supply or internal components.
