In this video, I’ll be teaching you how you can change your email and password assigned to Genshin Impact. This could be helpful to anyone trying to change their details to get the game’s information mailed into their correct email or just for privacy reasons.
Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo. The game features an open-world environment and action-based battle system using elemental magic and character-switching and uses gacha game monetization for players to obtain new characters, and other resources. The game is available on various platforms such as; PlayStation4/5, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and Windows.
So, to change your Genshin Impact account’s email and password, follow the steps mentioned below:
The first and foremost thing you need to do is open your game and go to its settings.
After that, click on ‘Account’ and then click on ‘User Centre.’ You’ll then be forwarded to Genshin Impact’s website.
Once you get into the website, make sure you have your username linked. You can do it by getting a verification code sent to your email.
Then to change your password, click on ‘Change Password’ and then click on ‘Send Code.’ A verification code will be sent to your email and enter the code you receive.
After you enter your code, click on ‘Next.’ You can now enter a new password and then re-enter the password in the next section.
Following that, click on ‘Confirm’ and your Genshin Impact account’s password will be changed.
And to change your email, click on ‘Modify Link’ right aside from your email.
You’ll again receive a verification code in your email, enter that and click ‘Next’
After you do that, enter the new email and a verification code will be sent to your new email. Once again, enter the code and click on ‘Link’
Once you do that, your email will be changed.
After following all the steps mentioned, your Genshin Impact account’s password and email will be changed.
