New Rogue game mode! 🎲 Trivia Train Part 6: Svelte 5 & SvelteKit 2 tutorial 🚂 LIVE Coding & Chill 🔴
This week on Trivia Train, we’re GOING ROGUE!
We’ll be adding a new game mode, with elements from the popular Rogue / Roguelike / Roguelite genre! Based on a game that’s even older than I, Rogue, the genre is nowadays more popular than ever! Games such as Balatro, Into the Breach & Hades are smash hits *and* critical darlings, while huge titles like God of War Ragnarök are creating a trend of DLC side-content in that style!
We’ll be dealing with the concept of RNG & runs, single-run “power-ups”, but mostly we’ll be trying to create an infinitely replayable Trivia Game where you strive for the highest score possible 🎰
