Exercise 8. Bench press lying. Rod weight - 70 kg.
Lying on your back on a horizontal bench, grip the barbell on top of the specially equipped racks, lift the barbell with straight arms, then bend your arms until the barbeat touches the barbell, extending your arms to perform the barbell press from the chest. After fixing the barbell on straight arms, repeat the next barbell bench press.
Exercise is performed without stopping. The use of reverse grip is prohibited.
Any change in the initial position is forbidden: tearing of the head, shoulders, buttocks from the bench and feet from the floor.
It is allowed to rest in the starting position at the top of the bar on straight arms.
Two weight categories are established: up to 70 kg, 70 kg and above.
