Ingredients for 2 beef tongues:
1.5 - Onions
2 - Carrots
Bay leaves
Pepper
2.5 tbsp - Salt
Leave the tongues in cold water to soak for 10-15min, meanwhile, boil the water.
Always put tongues in hot/boiling water, otherwise, they'll be very tough.
Leave them to boil for 15min, then drain the water.
Add more boiling water, close the lid and leave to cook on low for about 1hour.
Add spices and veggies.
After 15min season with salt.
Leave on for another 30 minutes.
In order to easily peel off the rough tongue skin, you need to immerse it in very cold water for 5min.
After cleaning, return it to the same boiling broth(10-15min) and all the flavours of the spices will add an exquisite taste to your dish.
