Is Regina, Saskatchewan Worth a Visit? ( Road trip stop in Canada's prairie capital! ) 🚙 🇨🇦
After enduring the past 5 months without travel, I decided it was time to once again venture out and explore. To put my proverbial toes into the water, I planned a two-week road trip across the often-ignored Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and northern Ontario.
On the first day of the trip, I covered 750 km of road between my home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and the prairie capital of neighboring Saskatchewan province, Regina.
I enjoyed a beautiful summer morning exploring the small provincial capital (pop. 240,000), and spent time admiring its stunning century-old Legislative Assembly on the shore of beautiful Wascana Lake. This may not be the most exciting city in Canada, but it's well worth a stop if you're passing through!
