More healthcare subsidies for holders of CHAS green card, Merdeka Generation card
From Nov 1, over 100,000 Singaporeans who have received the new Community Health Assist
Scheme (CHAS) green card can receive subsidies for chronic conditions, such as diabetes,
regardless of their income. The Ministry of Health said it has received more than 110,000
online applications for CHAS since September. Meanwhile, Merdeka Generation seniors will
get another 25% off their subsidised bills at polyclinics and public specialist outpatient clinics.
