Watch me making a Tommy Richman type beat from scratch in FL Studio 21. Tommy Richman has been blowing up lately and inspired me to create some beats in his style. I used mostly Arturia V Collection to create the funky & RnB vibe. You can also see my mixing process and the effects I add to my melodies – mostly ShaperBox 3 and basic Parametric EQ 2. 🐘 This beat would work perfectly for Tommy Richman or Brent Faiyaz in my opinion. As always I stick to simple chords using the 7th and 9th and some low memphis style vocals similar to Tommy Richman's song Million Dollar Baby.
