Sol Duc Falls in Olympic National Park
Sol Duc Falls has been a bucket list location for several years since we saw it on a National Park video. Olympic National Park is huge. We first visited in June of 2023, but didn't have time to get to Sol Duc Falls. Sol Duc Falls is in the Northwest Region of the Park in the Sol Duc Valley. The hike starts at the end of Sol Duc Road. On the 1.6 mile (round trip) hike, you will walk through old-growth forest to the cascades. It is a well traveled trail and you will not be alone on the trail.
