A bar plot, or bar chart, is a type of graph that uses rectangular bars to display data categories, with the bar lengths or heights corresponding to the values they represent. These bars can be oriented either horizontally or vertically. Bar charts are useful for comparing discrete categories, with one axis showing the specific categories being compared and the other axis showing the measured values for those categories.
