To account for the possibility of an appeal, the trial is scheduled to begin on January 27, 2025. Logan Paul is suing youtuber Coffeezilla, alleging defamation related to the CryptoZoo project. At the heart of the lawsuit is Coffeezilla’s portrayal of CryptoZoo as a scam, and Paul’s claim that his comments have damaged his reputation. The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee has sued Prime Hydration, a sports drink company founded by social media influencer Logan Paul. The lawsuit alleges that Prime Hydration LLC is infringing upon several trademarks of the USOPC including phrasing such as Olympic, Going for the Gold, and Team USA. An injunction is being requested to further prevent infringement of these terms, which may be granted due to the rights the USOPC has over these phrases. As court systems around the US move into the digital age, many of them are being attacked by ransomware.
