The iPod Touch 7th generation was released 5 years ago and today, you can get it for just $60.
Overall, the display on the iPod Touch 7th generation is low resolution but the device is small, so you won't notice the low screen resolution. The battery on the iPod Touch 7th generation lasts only a couple hours at the most. The iPod Touch 7 has just 1 camera, which does not take any good photos and is not comparable to modern smartphones and it has just 2GB of RAM and the Apple A10 chip, which will not perform basic tasks very well (for comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro has the A17 Pro chip).
My best alternatives to the iPod Touch 7 are the iPhone SE 1st and 2nd generation.
