Hey! Welcome to HOWZA channel! In today's tutorial, we will teach you how to get best quality video and audio in VLC media player.
VLC Media is a popular Media Player that is used to view Video and Audio Files. Did you know that with just a few tweaks we can enhance the Sound Quality and the Video quality of the file? The Audio will sound like Dolby 5.1 and the Videos will almost way a descent 3D Effect.
Open VLC player.
Click on Tools at the top menu bar. Choose Preferences from the list. A new window will open.
Go to Show Settings at the bottom of the window. Check All.
Select Audio from the left side list. Go to the right-side of the window. Go to Force detection of Dolby surround and set it to On. Look for Stereo audio output mode. Set it to Dolby Surround.
Click on Audio resampler on the left side list. Go to Speex resampler. Set resampling quality to 10.
Go to SRC resampler. Set sample rater converter type to Sinc function (best quality).
Scroll down the left side list. Go to Filters under Video option. Go to the right-side of the window. Check Gradfun video filter option.
Click on Filters on the left side list. Choose Swscale from the list. Set scalling mode to SincR. Click on Save to apply all changes.
