The Greatest Coach Of All Time is the story of Tommy Jackson, a hometown hero high school quarterback whose dreams of a football career are shattered when he injures his throwing shoulder.
After college, Jackson returns to the same high school as a music teacher.
Twenty-five years later, the football coach has a stroke and Jackson is asked if he would be the coach. He agrees, only because the school music program is in danger of being cut.
Then he finds out that the player responsible for the injury that ruined his NFL dreams has also returned to his former high school as head coach of the football team, making them rivals once again.
Jackson turns to his old high school football coach, Coach Brown, to find out how to win and Brown tells him about the “Greatest Coach Of All Time,” Jesus Christ, and his “playbook,” the Bible.
