Trezor Goes to Africa Bitcoin Conference 🚚
Our team went to Africa for the Bitcoin Conference in December 2023. Two major things happened on this trip:
1️⃣ We launched Trezor Academy - a free educational program aimed at support bitcoin adoption across Africa! It’s a program of in-person meetups led by local Bitcoin experts where locals can learn about the potential of Bitcoin and how it can help them. The Trezor Academy is open for anyone who feels the current financial system is stacked against them. And it’s free to attend!
2️⃣ We also introduced Bitcoineta West Africa - a Bitcoin-themed car dedicated to (literally) driving Bitcoin adoption and awareness in the West African region! All this was possible thanks to the awesome Trezor community, as the project was financed partly by sales of our 10th-anniversary limited edition of the Trezor Safe 3 hardware wallet.
