Endocrine disorders are common conditions that are often resistant to treatment. One reason for this is that they are complex problems with numerous and difficult patterns, such as blood stasis. Tung's acupuncture is an excellent treatment option for these conditions because it allows clinicians to select and implement needle protocols that use a small number of points while still addressing complex and chronic cases. Participants in this course will learn about common endocrine disorders and how to use key Master Tung's points and protocols to address them.
This course will begin with an overview of endocrine health before moving on to commonly used Master Tung's acupuncture points and treatment strategies for endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, PCOS, metabolic disorders, and so on.
Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:
Learn about endocrine health from both Western and TCM perspectives
Learn Chinese medical etiology for endocrine disorders
