Double NAT Issue FIX (BONUS: No IP Address Conflicts!)
How to fix double NAT issues in your gaming consoles like Xbox or Playstation.
DO NOT connect 2 routers using a WAN or Internet port. That will put your routers on different IP networks and give you NAT issues.
Plug one cable into a LAN port at both ends. Router 1 - LAN port. Router 2 - Also a LAN port.
The only router that should have anything plugged into the Internet or WAN port is ONE router and that will be connected to your modem. If you have any other routers in your house connected with an Ethernet cable, COVER UP the WAN/Internet ports on all of them with a piece of tape.
BONUS TIP
If you have more than 1 WiFi router on your network then disable DHCP on all of them except for your "MAIN" router. You may get away without doing this for a little while. But eventually you will have an IP address conflict. You don't want more than 1 DHCP server on your network.
