In this PowerPoint tutorial, I'll show you how to set up the formatting guides within your presentation, which will show people EXACTLY what colors they should be using whenever they work with your deck.
For a quick overview, the formatting guides are set in the slide master view of your presentation, on the left side of your parent slide, which has three distinct advantages:
#1: they will show up everywhere within your presentation
#2: they will only be editable in the master slide view of your deck (you cannot select and edit them in eh normal view of your presentation.
#3: they will not show up when presenting or printing your presentation. So you will only see them when you need them.
A pro tip for using the formatting guides, is to hard code the color codes into the color dialog box AND type the RGB or HSL codes into the formatting guide rectangles.
