Investigative journalist and Status Coup co-founder Jordan Chariton explains why 2024 is a repeat of 2020 and how the left has “no strategy to move Kamala Harris Left.” He says, “there's no strategy among elected progressives, outside progressive groups, labor to “hold Harris accountable” or move her left. “It just seems like the strategy is stop Trump and we'll deal with everything else after. I don't actually think you can significantly move somebody like Biden or Harris to the left on anything substantial. I think you're getting what we've gotten, which is kind of incremental crumbs. But part of why we can't get more is that the focus is just on electing Harris or stopping Trump rather than what are we going to do to actually organize to put pressure on President Harris?”
