I would tie a loop knot and twitch this lure a few times and let it sink. twitch it back up and let it sink! make sure on your last twitch, give it slack line! The loop knot will let the fluke shimmy when it reaches it apex of the upward movement, then drop back down! That is when you may get a reaction strike!
Yes, I do weigh my lures! I like to get a sense of how light my finesse lures are so that I can pair it up with the right setup. For this one, I like a ML Rod and a moderate fast tip so you can impart motion and get a nice bend to fight the fish!
