College coaches are looking at recruits early on. Learn when to start the recruiting process in this video.
SUMMARY
When should you start the college recruiting process? As soon as you’re ready to do so! You can start as early as 7th or 8th grade. College coaches are actively looking at recruits as young as 13 years old. Coaches also want to follow your progression over time.
In addition, there is a fixed amount of work that goes into the recruiting process, so you want to give yourself enough time to complete it. An advantage to starting early is having more time to focus on getting recruited.
