How to Cleanup a Poorly Lit Green Screen
To get great, professional results from your green screen or poorly lit green screen, apply the following tutorial in Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro 7, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere or Apple Motion. While many video applications include the effects in this tutorial, for best results we recommend the following:
Compound Arithmetic (set to “Add”)
Reduce Noise (we used Neat Video - www.NeatVideo.com)
Key (we used Keylight included with After Effects)
Feather Edges (we used Matte Magic)
