Operation Market Garden - Then and Now
In this video we are going to show you some iconic video and photo material taken in during Operation Market Garden and then show you the same location shown as it was in 2020.
This part focuses on Hell's Highway, the area between Son en Breugel and Uden. It was here that during Operation Market Garden the Germans were able to repeatedly block the road. the 101st Airborne division and British units such as the 44 RTR fought here in a desperate attempt to keep the corridor to Nijmegen open.
