I Had a Medical Event at 36,000 Ft- Airplane Nightmare
Ovarian Cyst Rupture on an airplane, over the Atlantic Ocean??? First of all, Endometriosis is the worst. We were on our way to Italy for our next IVF embryo transfer, and I suddenly started having severe abdominal pain on the flight. I tried to gut through and manage, but with about 3 hours left, I couldn't handle it anymore. The flight attendants, crew, pilots and doctors were all AMAZING. If you've ever feared that you would have a medical emergency on an airplane, here is my experience. Fortunately, we made it to our final destination and will update with a second video once we have talked to doctors and determined what happened to me.
