Getting a lot of “comment failed to post” errors on YouTube?

I’ve been tearing my hair out trying to get rid of it. Refreshing the page, clearing my cookies, trying different browsers, restarting my computer..but nothing seemed to work.

Here's how I discovered 2 solutions..
If I go back to my video here you’ll see there’s an ad that plays before my actual video and it says you can skip the video in 5 seconds. If I don’t skip the video in 5 seconds I get this “comment failed to post” error message.
If I let the video play past 5 seconds “click skip ad” then hit reply you can see that my comment successfully was posted. And that’s all there is to it.
An alternative solution is to reply to comments from your mobile phone using the YouTube Creator Studio App.
Tap comments
Here’s all your default comments
So you can click on a comment
You can reply to the comment
You can like it, flag it or trash it
Apparently you don’t get the dreaded “comment failed to post” error message.
Now you have both a desktop and mobile solution to the dreaded “comment failed to post” error message on YouTube.
