Creative thinking exercises like this are a great way to stimulate the mind! In each new round, they have to choose a new topic and devise categories in which to classify objects. By playing the exercise, the participants are training their minds to think outside the box. 📦→

Do you like this exercise? Let’s give these variations a try:
1. When you are working with a small group, or if you want the exercise to be shorter, you can start the exercise by letting them form duos or trios. By doing this, there will be fewer rounds.
2. You can do a bonus round in which each participant works alone to categorize the objects. Tell each person to be as inventive as possible when choosing a topic and categories. After each participant is done, they merge, and each participant shows his paper to the rest of the group. The rest of the group now awards points for originality. Each paper is graded on a scale from one to ten. You calculate the average score for each paper by adding all the scores and dividing them by the number of people who voted. The person with the highest score wins.
