Gaming and the Space Age | PAX West 2024
Video games grew up alongside the Space Program in the 1950s. Technology developed for the earliest rockets and spacecraft enabled these early video games and game consoles and still do today. The first video game was developed by a Manhattan Project physicist to be played on an oscilloscope. Likewise video game content has long been inspired by space exploration. This discussion will be led by a certified NASA Rocket Scientist who has developed rocket engines spacecraft and has long been a gamer.
