The FS110 Full Spectrum LED's can be linked up to 50 times when using a 230V power supply as we are here in Sweden. This is the longest chain I have tried with the urban grow lights, and it is working very well. The convenience of only needing 1 power supply, combinded with the 50cm extension cables seen in the video mean that you have many placement options.
This is the second season of our community grow down here in Southern Sweden, and it is time once again to give our seeds a head start, and get them growing indoors to start with. There are still some cold mornings here, but this is fingers crossed the end of the frost.
Starting seeds indoors is a great way to start your garden, and get edible plants germinating in a safe warm environment. Adding light in the form of Full Spectrum LED's is also beneficial for the first true leaves that will appear. It will give them a boost and prepare them to be transplanted into soil or any other traditional growing medium you choose to use. This is also the best method to germinate and start seeds before transfering into any hydroponics system, although this can also be donw from seed when using kratky hydroponics for example.
