IT'S FINALLY TIME! We’re heading off on our 14 night mediterranean cruise on P&O Cruises brand new ship Arvia and we can’t wait!
It’s our first EVER cruise, what will we think?! It’s myself, Sam, my husband, Carl and our 2 boys Henry & Jack who are 5 and 18 months old. We have no idea what the boys will think and whether a cruise will work for us as a family holiday with young children. We’ll share our experience and give an honest review, we’ll share our tips and tricks of cruising with children too!
We’re staying in a Deluxe Balcony Cabin on deck 15 (Cabin 15433), we haven’t made any concrete plans for any of the ports. Our itinerary is:
La Coruna
Valencia
Overnight, 2 days, in Barcelona
Cadiz (for Seville)
You may have seen, our cruises ended 4 days early due to our boy, Henry, being taken very poorly. The ship was rerouted to make an emergency stop in Malaga, Spain to ensure we could be medically disembarked in the best place possible to ensure Henry received the level of care he needed. We were disembarked on the sea day before Cadiz.
I will forever be more grateful than I can ever explain to P&O Cruises, I don't believe we could have been in a better place for when disaster struck to get the care Henry needed that quickly. Thank you P&O Cruises for making me an Arvia Insider in 2022.

This is the 1st time I’m using my brand new camera, it’s the Sony ZV-E1, it’s incredible and I definitely improve my skills with it as the cruise goes on.
