I will admit, despite my growing admiration for this game series, I have yet to actually play Yakuza 4. However, I've been listening to a lot of tracks across the series, and one in particular that I had on repeat as of late was the main theme for the 4th entry, For Faith, by series veteran composer Hidenori Shoji.
Despite the Engrish lyrics, I couldn't stop singing out "The selfish deed is not freedom" from the first time I heard it in full. Alongside that, I also liked the four variations of the composition to correlate with the four final bosses of the game; Four Face for Hiroaki Arai; Four Faith for Takeshi Kido; For Face for Daigo Dojima; and the instrumental version of For Faith for scumbag Seishiro Munakata.
I made my own mix bringing all four versions of the composition back into the original vocal track. Not too short, that listening to it will go by quickly, but also not too long to overstay its welcome. I hope you guys enjoy!
