Basics of Motion
For my Master's degree in Mass Communications, I sought a way to use my videography and motion graphic skills to create a series based around teaching you motion graphics in After Effects.
That resulted in this series, Basics in Motion. Each day this month (barring some potential hiccups), I will be releasing a new video detailing a new facet of After Effects or how to create a motion graphics project. I base the information I talk about on my experience with using the program. If you notice something missing that I didn't talk about, I'm either a) talking about it later in the series or b) I thought that it is something with a rare use case so it would've made the episode too long. If you really want something covered, I would love to hear about it in the comments below!
Side note, I was (and am still) recovering from Bell's Palsy, which is why the left side of my face wasn't moving while filming, in case you were wondering. Makes it not so fun to have to deal with when recording speaking parts, but it's gotten a lot better since I was first diagnosed.
