There are many tools and systems that can help us prioritize as software engineers. Free versions of tools, paid versions of tools, and a host of different processes to implement like scrum and kanban.
But... why?
If we better understand why we're trying to prioritize and the different things we value, the tools and processes will more easily fall into place.
