Slough suffered their first home defeat in over a year, falling 1-0 to Hemel in a hard-fought match at Arbour Park. Despite a strong first-half performance and multiple chances, including efforts from Gary Abisogun and John Gilbert, Slough couldn’t find the breakthrough. Hemel’s Craig King made key saves, notably denying Abisogun just before half-time.
The decisive moment came in the 62nd minute when Kyle Ajayi headed in from a Hemel corner. Slough pushed for an equaliser, with Scott Davies testing King from two free kicks, but the league leaders held on, dropping Slough to sixth place.
