Canon Cameras as a Webcam in OBS Studio and Other Applications
You have a Canon DSLR and you are live streaming (or want to be)? But the CamLink 4k is just so insanely expensive right now? Or you'd like to just get your feet wet with live streaming and not spend any more of your hard-earned dollars? Then here is a solution for you to use the beautiful image form your Canon DSLR (or Mirrorless EOS R or RP) as a webcam on your Mac or Windows machine in OBS or other programs like Google Hangouts.
Note: Zoom and some other macOS applications are currently blocking virtual webcams, and you may need to do some extra steps to get that working.
