“We didn't want to interpret the song too literally. Instead, we created a short film loosely based on the underlying themes and concepts that we drew from the music; lies, oppression, lack of control...We envisioned a character that would represent the sun and essentially embody a type of brightness in a dark and gritty place. But all things bright are fading and our story lives in the grey area between light and dark, right and wrong. Sunshine is empowered and has made her decision. Our twisted take on the song "Brighter Than The Sun", fueled by a childhood nightmare."
