PLEASE STOP RELEASING ACTION CAMERAS | My rant on oversaturation in the action camera market...
This is going to be a bit of a hot-take, so I'll just go ahead and say it...I think the action camera market is over-saturated and manufacturers of action cameras like DJI, GoPro, and Insta360 need to slow down how often they release new cameras.
You may not like it, but that's how I feel. The annual release of a new action camera stifles innovation and creativity and becomes a race to the bottom just for a quick shot of cash in the fourth quarter of the year for these OEMs.
Let's talk about why I am jaded with action cameras and why I don't get as excited about them as many other people...Let's Talk...action cameras?
