How to Lasso tool use on illustrator
Click Draw - Lasso Select. Click outside of the ink strokes you want to select, and drag a circle around only the ink strokes you want to include in your selection. For example, you might select only a single handwritten word or a single character in a line of handwritten text.
The Lasso tool lets you select objects, anchor points, or path segments by dragging along all or parts of the object.
Click the Lasso tool or press Q.
Drag to draw a shape around the elements you want to select. If you don't close the shape, Illustrator automatically connects the endpoints.
The lasso tool is good for editing objects, logos and typography, because they allow you to select portions of objects or paths and change them. You can select a large number of anchor points by drawing a circle around them. The white direct selection tool only allows you to select a whole object by clicking on it.
How do I paste a lasso select in one note?
Tap and hold your finger on the page where you want to paste the previously selected ink strokes. After you release, tap Paste on the menu that appears, and then drag the pasted ink selection with your finger exactly where you want it.
