Synopsis -
Karan Singh (Rajesh Khanna) is the younger son of a wealthy landowner who lives in luxury. His older brother oversees the many workers who contribute to the family's wealth. Karan leads a reckless life filled with alcohol, parties, and women. During a flight, Karan meets Savithri (Hema Malini) an airline hostess who leaves a lasting impression on him. When Karan saves Savithri from a dangerous situation, she becomes employed by his family and lives in their mansion.
As Karan and Savithri spend more time together, they fall in love. However, their relationship faces challenges when Savithri is falsely accused of stealing a valuable necklace. Amidst palace politics and jealousy, their love is put to the test. Despite facing poverty and hardship, Savithri and her family uphold their morals. Can Karan and Savitri's love withstand the pressures of society, greed, and suspicion?
